What we process

schedule4i.racing does not offer sign-in and does not link your visit to an iRacing account. We process only the data described below.

  • Schedule data: public iRacing series and season schedule information (series names, tracks, weeks, license categories, and related metadata) loaded from our servers to display the schedule grid.
  • Favorites preference: if you mark series as favorites, the corresponding season identifiers are stored in a cookie in your browser so your selection persists on return visits. This cookie is only placed when you actively mark a series as a favourite — no cookie is set on passive visits. It is not tied to an account on this site.
  • Technical data: such as IP address, request timestamps, and browser information in server logs required to operate and secure the service.

Data stored on our systems

The schedule content shown on this site is derived from iRacing reference and season data maintained in our databases. That data describes series and seasons in general and is not personal data about you.

We do not store user accounts, profiles, or favourite lists on our servers for this site. Favourite seasons exist only in the schedule-favorites cookie on your device.

Your choices

  • Favourites: you can add or remove favourites at any time in the schedule UI. Clearing site cookies removes stored favourites.
  • Questions and rights requests: contact us at support@stats4i.racing if you have questions or wish to exercise your data protection rights.

Purposes and legal bases

  • Providing the schedule browser (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interests in operating a publicly accessible service).
  • Remembering your favourite series via the schedule-favorites cookie, which is set only when you actively mark a series as a favourite (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — processing necessary to provide the functionality you requested; additionally Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in offering a convenient user experience). The cookie is also subject to § 25 TTDSG; as it is set exclusively on the basis of your active interaction, no prior consent is required.
  • Securing the service and maintaining server logs (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interests in operating and protecting the service).
  • Complying with legal obligations where applicable (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

Sharing with other users

We do not share your favourites or other information from your visit with other users. The service has no social or profile features.

Recipients and third parties

Data is shared only as needed to run the service. This includes our own backend API, which supplies schedule data to the frontend, and infrastructure providers. Schedule content originates from iRacing data we import for display; we do not receive your iRacing credentials on this site. We do not sell personal data.

Hosting: the service runs on servers operated by Hetzner Online GmbH in datacentres in Nürnberg and Falkenstein, Germany. Hetzner acts as a processor (Auftragsverarbeiter) on our behalf; we have data processing agreements in place with our processors as required by Art. 28 GDPR.

International data transfers

The service is hosted in Germany within the European Union. iRacing is based outside the EU; the schedule information we show is public season data, not data you submit to iRacing through this site. If other processors handle data outside the EU or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses where required by law.

Storage and retention

The schedule-favorites cookie is kept for up to one year unless you delete it sooner. Server logs are retained for a maximum of 30 days, then deleted or anonymised, unless longer retention is required by law.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, or loss. No online service can guarantee absolute security. If you discover a security vulnerability or incident, please report it to security@stats4i.racing.

Your rights

As we process only minimal technical data (server logs) and no persistent user profiles, most data subject rights have limited practical scope. You may nonetheless contact us at support@stats4i.racing to exercise your right of access (Art. 15 GDPR) or to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz Niedersachsen (LfD Niedersachsen).

Children

The service is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Cookies

We use one functional cookie, schedule-favorites, to remember which series seasons you marked as favourites. It is set only when you actively mark a series as a favourite — no cookie is placed on passive visits. It is stored for up to one year, uses SameSite=Lax, and is not used for advertising or analytics. You can remove it at any time through your browser settings.

Changes

We may update this policy when the service changes. Material changes will be posted on this page. The current version is always available here.
